ACHIEVEMENT AWARDS
Letters, Chevrons, and LHHS Hall of Fame represent the highest honor that the program can bestow upon a student.
For eligibility, the following requirements must be met:
- Letters
- Participation in Marching Band for 2 consecutive years or 3 consecutive years in Classroom Music
- Attendance to all performances unless excused by the Director
- No major disciplinary action on record
- Chevrons Student in an approved leadership position
- Most Improved Freshman, Sophomore, Junior, Senior
- Most Outstanding Freshman, Sophomore, Junior, Senior
- John Philip Sousa Award Highest honor awarded to the top Band student Marching Band Award
- National Orchestra Award
- Jazz Award
- National School Color Guard Color Guard member who embodies the artistry and pageantry of Color Guard, leadership, and service
